The Public & Private Credit Fundamentals Program provides students with a practical introduction to how credit markets work and how companies raise capital through public and private credit. Participants will learn how companies are financed through debt, how lenders evaluate credit risk and analyze borrowers, and how investors navigate key concepts such as credit agreements, covenants, defaults, distress, and recovery. The program is designed for students interested in careers in investment banking, private credit, asset management, commercial and real estate finance, and institutional investing, as well as students from multidisciplinary backgrounds such as finance, economics, accounting, business, engineering, and mathematics. Participants will develop practical credit and leveraged finance skills while building a strong technical foundation for future internships, interviews, and careers in finance.
